Description

A creamy and flavorful Whipped Feta Dip with Garlic Honey that blends tangy feta and cream cheese with a sweet, garlicky honey drizzle. Perfect for entertaining, this easy-to-make appetizer combines smooth whipped cheese with a warm, spiced honey topping and crunchy pistachios for texture.

Ingredients

Scale

Whipped Feta Dip

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces feta cheese, room temperature
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Garlic Honey

  • 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Sauté Garlic: Heat a small saucepan over medium heat and add a small amount of olive oil. Add the finely minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes until softened, being careful not to brown the garlic.
  2. Prepare Garlic Honey: Add the red pepper flakes to the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds to release their aroma. Stir in the honey, then remove the pan from heat before the honey bubbles. Let the mixture cool while preparing the dip.
  3. Whip the Feta: In a food processor, combine the olive oil, feta cheese, cream cheese, and lemon juice. Blend for about 1 minute until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Dip: Transfer the whipped feta to a serving platter and create indentations in the center to hold the honey.
  5. Add Toppings and Serve: Drizzle the cooled garlic honey slowly over the whipped feta. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and fresh parsley. Serve with toasted bread or crackers.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cheeses for the smoothest whipped texture.
  • Be careful not to brown the garlic while sautéing to avoid bitterness.
  • You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your preferred spice level.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture, or refrigerate covered for up to 24 hours.
  • Pair with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or crackers for a perfect appetizer.
