Ingredients

Scale

Ladyfinger Mixture:

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed ladyfingers or vanilla wafers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 tablespoon coffee or coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Dipping:

  • 1/2 cup melted semi-sweet or dark chocolate
  • Cocoa powder for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine crushed ladyfingers, cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso powder, coffee, and vanilla. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Form Balls: Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Dip in Chocolate: Dip balls in melted chocolate, dust with cocoa if desired. Refrigerate until set. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a boozy twist, use coffee liqueur like Kahlúa. Try rolling balls in cocoa, crushed cookies, or chocolate shavings instead of dipping.
