Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Cream Cheese Layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Pudding Layer
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1½ cups cold milk
Fruit Layer
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, for sweetening strawberries)
Topping
- ½ cup white chocolate chips or shavings (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust layer.
- Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to lighten it.
- Assemble Cream Cheese Layer: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pressed graham cracker crust, creating a smooth layer.
- Make Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture thickens. Then spread this pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Prepare Strawberry Layer: In a bowl, gently toss the sliced fresh strawberries with granulated sugar if you prefer them sweeter. Spread the strawberries evenly over the pudding layer.
- Add Final Toppings: Spread the remaining whipped cream on top of the strawberries. Sprinkle with white chocolate chips or shavings if desired for extra flavor and decoration.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled strawberry lasagna for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld beautifully before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use whipped topping instead of heavy cream.
- You can substitute the graham cracker crust with crushed golden Oreos for a sweeter base.
- Always chill thoroughly for the best texture and flavor integration.
