Instructions
- Cook the Sausage Patties: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage patties until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Eggs: In the same skillet, melt the butter or heat the oil. Crack in the eggs and cook them to your preferred doneness—scrambled, over-easy, or fried. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you want melted cheese, flip the eggs and place a slice of cheddar on top during the last 30 seconds of cooking.
- Toast the Muffins or Biscuits: While the eggs cook, toast the split English muffins or biscuits until golden and crisp.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Layer each toasted muffin or biscuit bottom with a cooked sausage patty, topped with the cheesy egg, then cover with the muffin or biscuit top half. Serve the sandwiches warm for best flavor.
