For the Fudge:
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chopped Andes mints or mint chocolate candies
Optional for Garnish:
- ¼ cup white chocolate chips
- Green food coloring
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the Ingredients: In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, and salt, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and food coloring if desired.
- Combine and Chill: Fold in half of the chopped mint candies, pour mixture into the pan, and spread evenly. Drizzle with melted white chocolate, swirl, and top with remaining mint candies. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve: Lift the fudge out using the parchment, cut into squares, and enjoy!
