Description

These Hot Honey Chicken Bowls are a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. Tender chicken coated in a hot honey sauce served over rice with steamed broccoli, carrots, avocado, and green onions.

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the hot honey sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)

For serving:

  • 1 cup cooked jasmine or basmati rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: In a bowl, coat chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through.
  2. Make the hot honey sauce: Melt butter, add honey and hot sauce. Pour over cooked chicken.
