Description

This Garlic Butter Chicken Bites recipe features tender, bite-sized pieces of chicken breasts seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika, then cooked to golden perfection in olive oil. Tossed in a fragrant garlic butter sauce and garnished with fresh parsley, this quick and easy stovetop dish makes a delicious main course that pairs perfectly with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 1½ lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Garnish and Serving

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season Chicken: Pat the chicken pieces dry and evenly season them with salt, pepper, and paprika to add flavor and depth.
  2. Heat Oil: Warm 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  3. Cook Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken pieces in a single layer in the skillet (cook in batches if necessary). Sauté for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  5. Toss Chicken in Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss well to coat each piece in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges for a bright, citrusy finish.

Notes

  • Serve the chicken bites over rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or alongside steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • For more depth of flavor, add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to the garlic butter sauce during sautéing.
  • This dish works well for meal prep and also makes a flavorful appetizer for parties.
