Ground Turkey Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Serving:

  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and green bell pepper until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  2. Cook Turkey: Add ground turkey to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Make Sauce: Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
