- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Serving:
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and green bell pepper until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Cook Turkey: Add ground turkey to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Make Sauce: Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Assemble: Toast buns, spoon turkey mixture onto buns, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
