Description

This delightful Easter Snack Mix combines crunchy Rice Chex cereal, mini pretzels, pastel-colored M&M’s, mini marshmallows, and creamy white chocolate for a sweet and salty treat perfect for spring celebrations and holiday gatherings. Easy to prepare with no-bake instructions, it brings festive colors and flavors to any party or snack time.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 1/2 cups pastel-colored M&M’s (peanut or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup pastel-colored sprinkles (optional)

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white melting wafers

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal, mini pretzels, pastel-colored M&M’s, and mini marshmallows. Gently stir to mix evenly.
  2. Melt White Chocolate: Place the white chocolate chips or white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted.
  3. Toss with Chocolate: Pour the melted white chocolate over the dry ingredient mixture. Gently toss everything together until all pieces are evenly coated with white chocolate.
  4. Add Sprinkles: Spread the coated mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle the pastel-colored sprinkles over the top if using, so they stick to the chocolate before it sets.
  5. Set and Cool: Allow the snack mix to cool and harden at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This will help the chocolate to set firmly.
  6. Serve or Store: Once set, break the snack mix into clusters. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container to keep fresh.

Notes

  • Customize by adding other Easter candies like robin eggs or mini Cadbury eggs for extra festive flavor.
  • Add salted peanuts or popcorn for a salty-sweet twist to the mix.
  • Use pastel-colored candy melts instead of white chocolate for a more colorful presentation.
