Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Base

  • 1 1/2 pounds white almond bark or white melting chocolate, divided
  • 1 cup pink candy melts

Cookies and Decorations

  • 12 lemon Oreo cookies or any lemon sandwich cookies
  • Easter grass sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 pound of white almond bark or white melting chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Prepare Cookies: Line a tray or baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the 12 lemon Oreo cookies spaced evenly apart.
  3. Cover Cookies: Spoon the melted white chocolate over each cookie to completely cover it, ensuring full coverage.
  4. Fill Spaces: Pour the remaining white chocolate in the spaces surrounding and between the cookies to create a smooth surface.
  5. Set Chocolate: Gently tap the tray on the table to help level the white chocolate and evenly spread it around.
  6. Sprinkle Grass: Evenly sprinkle Easter grass sprinkles around the cookies on the white chocolate but avoid placing them directly on the cookies.
  7. Allow to Set: Set aside the tray to allow the white chocolate to begin firming up.
  8. Melt Remaining White Chocolate: In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining ½ pound of white chocolate in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  9. Melt Pink Chocolate: Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts until smooth.
  10. Prepare Piping Bags: Spoon each melted chocolate color into separate Ziploc bags and snip off a small corner for piping.
  11. Pipe Bunny Feet: On a parchment-lined tray, pipe 12 sets of small white ovals to resemble bunny feet.
  12. Level White Feet: Lightly tap the tray to level the white chocolate feet shapes.
  13. Add Bunny Toes: Use the pink melted chocolate to pipe four small dots on each white oval to represent bunny toes.
  14. Chill Feet: Place the tray in the fridge for 5 minutes to set the bunny feet.
  15. Pipe Bunny Tails: While the feet chill, pipe small white chocolate tails onto the back of each cookie using the melted white chocolate.
  16. Attach Feet to Cookies: Pipe a small spot of white chocolate on the back of each bunny foot and use it as glue to attach the feet to the bottom of each cookie.
  17. Final Chill: Place the decorated tray in the fridge for 30 minutes to fully set the chocolate decorations.
  18. Cut Around Cookies: Heat a knife by dipping it in hot water and drying it off, then carefully cut around the bunny butts on the bark to create neat edges.
  19. Serve: Arrange the Easter Bark pieces on a serving tray and enjoy your festive treat!

Notes

  • Be sure to use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
  • Melting chocolate in short bursts and stirring frequently prevents burning.
  • Use a warm, dry knife to cut chocolate for clean edges without cracking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in a cool place or refrigerator.
  • You can substitute lemon Oreos with other flavored sandwich cookies if desired.
