Avocado Dressing:
- 1 ripe avocado (peeled and pitted)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2–4 tablespoons water (to thin as needed)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Add avocado, Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt to a blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Adjust Consistency: Add water gradually, blending until desired consistency is reached. Adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice if necessary.
- Store and Serve: Transfer the dressing to a jar or container. Refrigerate until ready to use. Shake or stir before serving.
Notes
- This dressing keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- For a vegan version, substitute dairy-free yogurt for Greek yogurt or sour cream.
