  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour until just combined.
  3. Prepare the swirl: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Layer and bake: Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mix, add the rest of the batter, top with remaining cinnamon, and swirl. Bake for 50–60 minutes.
  5. Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
