Description

Chocolate Berry Bites are a delightful and easy no-bake treat featuring fresh berries dipped in rich, melted chocolate. Perfect as a bite-size dessert or party snack, they combine the natural sweetness of strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries with the indulgent flavor of semisweet or dark chocolate. Optional toppings of crushed nuts or shredded coconut add a lovely crunch and extra flavor, making these treats both visually appealing and delicious. Ready in just 30 minutes including chilling time, they offer a quick, healthy dessert option that’s vegetarian and gluten-free.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries (washed and dried)

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Toppings (Optional)

  • ¼ cup crushed nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the chocolate berries do not stick after dipping.
  2. Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Melt in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  3. Dip berries: Using a fork or skewer, dip each individual berry or small cluster of berries into the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off back into the bowl to avoid clumps.
  4. Place & garnish: Place the chocolate-coated berries on the prepared parchment paper. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle them with optional crushed nuts or shredded coconut for added texture and flavor.
  5. Chill to set: Refrigerate the baking sheet for 20–30 minutes until the chocolate coating is firm and set.
  6. Serve: Serve the chocolate berry bites chilled as a refreshing, sweet treat or party appetizer.

Notes

  • For variety, try using white chocolate or drizzle melted white chocolate over dark chocolate–coated berries to add a stylish touch.
  • These bites make a great bite-size dessert or party treat that is easy to eat and share.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator until ready to serve to keep the chocolate firm and berries fresh.
