- 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), cored and thinly sliced
Sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions
