Ingredients
Scale
For the Milkshake
- 2 slices cheesecake with graham cracker crust (plain or with fruit/chocolate swirl)
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream
- 1/4 cup milk
For the Glass Rim
- 2 tablespoons vanilla frosting
- 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
For Garnish
- Whipped cream, for garnish
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Using a butter knife, smear the vanilla frosting along the rim of a large malt glass. Then place the rainbow sprinkles in a shallow plate and gently roll the frosting-coated rim of the glass into the sprinkles until evenly coated. Set the glass aside to let the frosting set while you prepare the milkshake.
- Make the Milkshake: Add the cheesecake slices, vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream, and milk into a high-quality blender. Blend for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth with no lumps. Avoid over-blending to keep the milkshake from becoming too thin.
- Assemble and Serve: Pour the blended milkshake into the prepared sprinkle-rimmed glasses. Generously top with whipped cream and finish each milkshake with a maraschino cherry placed on top for a classic dessert presentation.
Notes
- Use a sturdy blender to ensure the cheesecake blends smoothly without large chunks remaining.
- Feel free to use your favorite cheesecake variety like plain, fruit-swirl, or chocolate-swirl for different flavor variations.
- For a thicker shake, reduce the amount of milk slightly or use more frozen yogurt/ice cream.
- Chilling the glasses before preparation keeps the milkshake colder longer.
- To make this recipe vegan, substitute dairy-free frozen dessert, vegan frosting, and dairy-free milk alternative.
