Ingredients
Scale
Blueberry Sauce
- ½ cup fresh blueberries
Yogurt Base
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt)
Instructions
- Prepare the Blueberry Swirl: In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the blueberries for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Gently mash the blueberries to release their juices and create a thick sauce. Once done, remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
- Mix the Yogurt Base: While the blueberry sauce is cooling, combine the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup (if using) and vanilla extract (if using plain yogurt) in a bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Create the Swirl Effect: Spoon small amounts of the cooled blueberry sauce into the yogurt mixture and use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the sauce through the yogurt, creating a marbled effect without fully mixing it in.
- Shape and Freeze: Using a spoon or silicone molds, scoop bite-sized portions of the swirled yogurt mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or directly into molds. Place them in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Serve and Store: Once the bites are fully frozen, transfer them to an airtight container and keep stored in the freezer. Enjoy them directly from the freezer as a refreshing and healthy frozen snack anytime.
Notes
- You can use plain or vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt according to your preference.

- Silicone molds can make shaping the bites easier and more uniform but are not necessary.

- Consume within 1 to 2 weeks for best quality.
