Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in nuts if desired.
  5. Fill Muffin Cups: Divide batter into muffin cups, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
